Thank you for your interest in this course.  It has been prepared by Katrina Lybbert and Stacey Zoller with help from the wonderful members of our LDSMomEd yahoo group.  The purpose of this course is to help us become better persons, mothers, & home educators.
 

Option Number One  --  Follow the Course as Outlined

You can follow the course as outlined in our four year rotation.  Each year we have three core subjects and four add-on (additional) subjects for study.  The core subjects stay the same in each of the four years (Divinity, Education, and Literature), with the add-on subjects changing for variety.  Assignments have been chosen for each month of the year in each subject.  Just complete the assignments for the month in your own free time and then let the list know how things are going.  If you can't quite complete everything, that is okay, just do the best you can.  The benefit to following the course as outlined, is that there will be others studying the same books as you and you can join in discussion on the list for those books.
 

Option Number Two  --  Create Your Own Course

You can develop your own study plan using our course as a guide or starting place.  You may choose to just follow the plan for Divinity for example, or maybe you would like to study the same subject areas but choose different resources.  The main goal is to do what is right for you and learn the things you are interested in.  Study what will be helpful to you at the current time.  Our extra reading/resource lists (currently in progress) will contain the best books and resources we find for pursuing self-education in the areas outlined.  These lists can help you create your own course of study.  You are very welcome to join our email list to find support in your studies.
